George has been a financial services representative since becoming insurance licensed in 1984 and securities licensed in 1985. As an independent financial advisor, he offered traditional asset allocation programs to clients prior to feeling the need to offer new tactical allocation strategies. George helped to found the registered investment advisor, Cornerstone Asset Management Services, Inc. in 2005 and has served as the firm’s president since 2008. George and his wife, Jayne, live in Seven Hills, Ohio. He enjoys hiking, golfing and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Chief Compliance Officer
Nicholas graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Kent State University in 2002. He began a career in financial services with wirehouse brokerage, Morgan Stanley. After leaving Morgan Stanley, Nicholas became an independent financial advisor and managed personal client accounts until 2005 when he was a founder of the registered investment advisor firm, Cornerstone Asset Management Services, Inc. As portfolio manager for the firm's tactical model portfolios, Nicholas has been managing client accounts using the Cornerstone investment process since 2006. He holds the series 7, 24, 31, & 66 Securities Registrations. Nicholas and his wife, Leah, live in Broadview Heights, Ohio with their children, Stella, Evie, and Thomas. He enjoys golfing and fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Director of Marketing
Stephanie graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Kent State University in 2010. Her studies included a focus on Managerial Marketing, Advertising and Management. She joined Cornerstone Asset Management Services, Inc. in 2010 and has served as the firm's Director of Marketing. Stephanie & her fiance are getting married in the summer of 2018. She enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
Mark graduated from Miami University in 1980 and went on to work on his MBA with a finance major at BGSU. Mark has 25+ years in the brokerage industry in Cleveland. He holds the Series 7 and 24 Securities Registration. Mark concentrates his research on generating current income through investment in regional dividend-paying stocks. Mark and his wife, Marj, live in Seven Hills, Ohio and have two kids. Mark enjoys Cleveland sports, biking, and golfing.
Director of Market Research
Ken served in the United States Air Force from October 1983 to October 1987, where he was a Personal Affairs Assistant, focusing on helping Air Force members with restructuring their finances. He was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal for excellent service during his tenure. He then attended Terra State Community College from January 1988 to May 1991, graduating with an Associate Degree in Banking and Finance, earning Summa Cum Laude Honors.
In various capacities since 1994, Ken has developed investment platforms on an active management basis utilizing a fee-based approach rather than commission-based, marketed established investment platforms to advisor networks via literature, phone presentations and public speaking, has written a market research and portfolio analysis email newsletter educating advisor networks on market analysis and historical relationships. He also built analytical systems/platforms to analyze global markets for best positioning of assets within current market landscapes, served as a regular speaker at national/regional investment conferences on a fee-based, active management process, and wrote multiple in-house research papers for private audiences.
He has retained and currently holds the Series 65 Designation.
Ken and his partner Beth live in the Toledo Ohio area where he enjoys working out, being in nature, working with dogs and studying health & fitness.
